You can thank my basic cable for that. I watch the History Channel for stuff like that... escpecially history's mysteries and UFO files... oh man I LOVE those shows.

The native Americans believe in a system of resets the world goes through (ctrl+ alt+ delete for those who know this feeling). Every so often, the entire existance, the universe, everything will just poof.

The Catholics believe in some sort of apoclapyse if angels become humans, enter a hallowed ground i.e a cathedral, and die unpon exiting this sacred place... the whole universe will be wiped out. But I think only if God is somewhere where he/she cannot stop the events. I'm not sure about this one... but watch the movie "Dogma" and see what you think.

I watched the end of "Dogma" on Comedy Central yesterday, so I was reminded this morning.

Then, of course, there is always the possibility that we will get taken out by some alien race. But, this idea was merely the brainchild of the 1950s' hysteria about communisim and the influx of science fiction. Nowadays, many ufologists (yes this is a science and you can get your degree in it) believe that extraterrestrials will be peaceful, inquisitive creatures who only wanted to see what we were. There is the chance they could be carrying some sort of space virus that will ultimately wipe mankind out, however.

Well, I want some popsicles.
