Alas, we are all living a dream, but when shall we wake up?
Hey out there. Its saturday night and I have decided to update. I know all lj readers out there are excited! Hmm... what to chat about. Well, life is ok i guess. School is, well, school, although sociology is am amazing course. The One Act is beginning to progress and the musical is well, there. I think I am having winter blues and I made a serious realization that I need to be come more open to people and stop being afraid to talk to people or to tell people my honest opinions. I need to add that to my to do list. But, I think its the weather that is confusing my brain, because one days its all srping and nice out and the next it is freezing and snowing. I really want spring to come.I really want to be able to play tennis again! Although, DDR is amazing and my current mode of exercise. Anyways, a couple weeks ago in Spanish, we watched a movie on the Mayans. As I am sure you all know, the mayans predicted that the life cycle, or world as we know it, would end on December 23, 2012. Thats a Sunday for anyone who cares. What is more scary is that fact that the Mayans have never been wrong in over 500 years about dates. Well, his prediction really made me think and begin to analyze what is going on in the world today. Maybe this is just me, but does it seem that there is never any stop to horrible things? Each year, there's another terrorist or another country threatening the U.S. Another war to be fought, hurricane relief to begin, another massive problem the world has to deal with. It seems that the difficulties the humans of Earth have created have become just overwhelming. I didn't even mention poverty, disease, the list just continues endlessly. Doesn't all this come to a head eventually? IN my opinion, the need and dependency the world has for and on oil is going to be the ultimate downfall. Is it just me, or does this heading point seem like it could potentionally be December 23, 2012. Well, if any of you out there have an opinion on this, I would be fascinated to hear it. I know there are numerous predictions to when the world will end. I guess this one was just the only prediction i felt may be right.
