Wow! I was looking at my LJ (as always) and I realized that I haven't updated in over 3 months! So basically this is how it has been in the life of Luke Kanter
-Sadie Hawkins Dance! It was a complete success and was hella fun. Sophomores: We did a great job! But now in Stugo there is really nothing else to do until Wolfstock...but I am very excited for that.
-Working: A one act musical (Ha!) For those of you who do not know (although I can't imagine how you don't) JJ Ariel and I are directing a one act version of the musical working for State One Act Festival! Yay! It's turning out really really well! Our cast and crew are awesome and we are already able to run the show! We go at 2 on the 24 of February...but we only have 40 minutes to set up take down and do the show...so we decided to cheat our way through that by putting part of our set up during the show! haha
-Jellybean Conspiracy. This is the show that I am in now at Fountain Hills. It is about a girl and her brother who has down syndrome. It really has an amazing message and I think that it is going to be a very powerful show. Even if I am dressed as Woody the cowboy in one scene. (Don't ask you have to see it) We also open on the 24th (Oh god!)
-School is going terrific this year. I decided to drop out of the IB program and just go for honors and AP classes. I am really happy with my decision. Now I can take everything that I want to take next year and be able to take a lot more interesting courses. (That isnt to say that the IB classes are not interesting. I just wouldnt fit some into my schedule)
-Max got into Middlebury! Now Mom can sleep at night without shaking....she did it!
And so that is about it!
P.S. You all may find this strange but...I havent been listening to that many musical soundtracks lately. I am more into movie soundtracks now...still a nerd though! ;-)
