Makeup Video Weds!
This week I thought I'd do something a little different! Halloween is fast approaching and I'm having an interesting time trying to fit my personal costume work in around commissions. (Commissioned work always comes first)
Test makeup for Queen Altair, my wraith. This was my first time playing with creme makeups in a long time- took me nearly half an hour to apply. I did a lot of incremental steps that I generally would not, but I honestly went into the makeup with no real plan or even a solid design in mind. So, lots of color adjusting on the fly.
All in all I'm pleased with the outcome. It's also good to know that I can make a decent illusion with stage makeup, just in case I don't get my prosthetic pieces done in time. (We'll call this "plan B")
Tools: Ben Nye creme, Graftobian creme, Snazaroo cake, scar wax, green eyeshadow.
