What's on Television?
So I've been watching 90210 (the new one. I'm afraid I never saw the original either) and I have to say: Gossip Girl wins, hands down.
I don't know why. I mean their both full of their share of drama, once on the east coast, once on the west coast, with the whole girlfriend go round thing and guess what? In both one of the adult characters finds out he has a son that he never knew about and that was given up for adoption!
Gossip Girl still wins.
Maybe because they have Chuck and Blair. Chuck and Blair are characters of superior awesomness. They're horrible and nasty, even to the people they like; they are incredibly manipulating and scheming. They have all the best lines. And somewhere deep inside (very, very deep inside) they are actually nice people. They're extremely entertaining.
None of the 90210 characters are like this. Either they're nice or they're bitches (grant, I'm only on episode 9 maybe that's coming). And they don't have such good lines.
Also my little sister just informed me that no one says what's-his-face anymore. Actually, she didn't even get it when I said what's-his-face and when I was horrified and explained that that's what we used to say, she was all 'well no one says that anymore'. And this from kids that still tell the same jokes as I did when I was their age. I don't know what to think.
