30 Days Memes, DAY TWELVE
A scene/moment that pissed you off: In a textual way, or one when I watched it made me reconsider wanting to watch the show ever again? Well, Tara never catching any kind of break is starting to get more than a little grating. And I continue to think that the scene with Bill and Lorena in bed is one of the most unnecessarily gruesome and gratuitous piece of crap I've ever seen. The convergence of rage, sex, and that kind of violence literally made me sick. It shows a lack of imagination and a willingness to do anything to titillate, which makes me lose a lot of respect for Alan Ball.
least favourite season: Three. It was so bad, it took most of season 4 to fix the crap. The mishandling of the Connor storyline, the forced C/A nonsense, the stumbling around by the writers who seemingly had no idea what the hell to do after Darla died, the massive screwing of Cordelia, the list goes on and on.
least favourite season: Seven. What a waste of the final season. Between the lame ass lack of action on the part of the "First Evil," The Spike Show, and the freaking endless stream of minor characters pouring across the screen every week (i.e. the Potentials), there was hardly any story left for Buffy and the, you know, characters we actually cared about.
