Hey friends.
Have a few shows coming up, thought you might be into. They’re all on the last minute side of things, as is my way, but with Global Visions Film Fest taking my time up in its beautiful, mind blowing, social conscience raising way, t’is the nature of my time beastie to lead you in this last minuteness folly.
First up is a show tonight at the BlackSpot Café. For those of you not yet fascinated by this entity, check out the What’s In The Name portion of this shpiel by clicking here .. yea adbusters. Tonight I get to share my picture prettiness with The Fawkes - a collaboration between Holzkopf and Eamon Mcgrath - sound goodies that you will love to stick in your ears. Cost is 5$.
Then this weekend I have a gig with some beamers at the Arts and Science Symposium. Check this out my friends, if you get a chance. Some fabo speakers are on the agenda talking about Art and Science’s love child. We’re playing the reception after the talks on Fri Nov 9th from 4-7 at Snell Hall at the University of Alberta Hospital.
Third up is a show on Sat the 10th for a BEAMS show to create a second compilation album of electroacoustic works with John Armstrong, Don Ross and Thom Golub, but there’s a whole schwack of fab folks performing (Ken Read, Jan Randall, Phil Jagger, Bill Damur, Gary Lee).
