REVENGE OF THE NERDS
A slight chill & breezy. The weather today is perfect. In fact, we should all turn off our A/C units and crack open a window or something. Let's enjoy this while it lasts, shall we?
Mmmm… I was just thinking how it's a crime to be stuck indoors chained to my desk while paradise is right outside waiting for me... I asked my boss if I could leave early from work so I could "carpe diem" and he said yes. So after I wrap up a few things, I'm out of here!
Here is a brief list of activities I’d like to accomplish today:
• Go directly to my salon to get my eyebrows waxed.
It’s sad how dependant I’ve become to waxing. I won't even touch my
own tweezers anymore. I’m spoiled.
• Take Bubbles to the dog park.
• Then I will take Bubbles to Three Dog Bakery for some doggy treats.
• Eat pho tai @ Van Loc. Why the hell not?
Last night was bittersweet. We had a going away dinner for Brian Crews at Adriana’s crib. I ate delicious food, drank extremely potent rum punch and spent the evening with the most excellent group of friends anyone can ask for. We may all have hectic schedules and splinter off into mini cliques occasionally but when you get us all together in the same room, a good time is guaranteed. Casey & Maria, Adriana, Rachelle, Delaney, Russell & Stephanie, Andrew B., Brian Crews and Brian Campbell: YOU GUYS RULE ME!
& J.D. is coming back from Canada tomorrow and we’re going to give him a proper Texas homecoming.
My apologies to Lana & Mary for missing Lana’s birthday karaoke party last night. I’ll make it up to Ms. Lana this weekend or die trying!
Speaking of this weekend… why do I have the feeling that this weekend is going to be AWESOME?!?
