(no subject)

Ok there has been much discussion about the upcoming election and the subject of abortion and of war.  And I thot I would give you all my opinion since this is live journal and that’s what it’s for right

Ok as for the subject of abortion, I do not agree or support abortion in any way!  Nor do I hate people who agree with or have had abortions.  (I say this because I recently read an article about a faction of people who harass those who take part in the procedure and the persecution of others for there beliefs are wrong even if there beliefs are poor in judgment.) all things considered the killing of an unborn child is still the killing of a human being and the only true killing of innocence.

That being said war is the worst thing on the face of the planet (short of genocide which in some situations can be included in war) war is the killing of another army innocent women and children destruction of a civilization on a wide scale.

Considering these two things on the scale of atrocities going on it the world I would have to say that war ranks at the top being the most destructive and life changing for the people involved (were there not a war going on I would have to say that abortion would be the most atrocious of the two) abortion ranking next and third place would go to the razing drug problem in the nation.

Now as for the election I am going to vote for Kerry (and yes I am aware that he is not proposing to stop the war) for the simple fact that Bush dose not represent me as an average American.  The problem with this administration is that it represents big business and not the interests of the American people, instead they are more concerned about making money for the company’s that support there platform. On the other hand the democrats represent special interest groups, and still not in my best interests.  My suggestion is that the American people need a candidate that will stand up for the rights of the masses some one who would unite the people as a hole and bring peace to this grate country that I love.

(and to all you people who just see me as a no good hippie if the draft is reinstituted and I am called I will go were ever they send me and I will do my job whether I agree with it or not.  It’s part of my duty as a citizen of this country)

I view myself as a proud American I just want to make this land that I love a better for my children so that we may all one day live in peace and harmony.

God bless you all
