sooooo, where did i leave off? not much has really happened in my life worth noting. maybe i'll just do a quick +/-
++ nice chill weekend with no real plans
-/+ yard sale on sunday. nobody really came, so i napped and read outside all day
- - - - - - food poisoning, which resulted in a bad BAD sunday night (fever, shakes, nausea, ew). don't cook fish on the BBQ without a thermometer. f'realz.
+++++++++++ KWVA finally called me back, to hire me!! you're lookin at one of two new Outreach Associates (promotions and underwritting!!) so yaaaay for that! [88.1 fm... www.kwvaradio.org]
- - - i still can't find another part time job (the radio deal is more of a hobby type job, with a tiny tiny stipend) i've seriously dropped off at least 15 resumes. i may have to resort to babysitting/nannying... we'll see.
+ free swag from the station, a teeshirt and a giant tote bag. sweet.
- - i need to get new tires for my car. apparently sitting for almost 10 years wears them out, and two flats in one month do not make me happy...
+++++ i'm coming home next week, then to new york!! weeeeeee!
flying into san jose on thursday night, then either friday or saturday going to santa rosa. then leaving for NY on tuesday, and back home on saturday. then back to OR on monday.
this brings me to a question: any thoughts on what i should wear/ where i should go to shop for a business casual luncheon? i need to do that sometime this week.
