the "avant garde" band my dad was involved with, The Residents, started a little project in the 70s called Vileness Fats (that dad is in). It was never finished, but they compiled 17 minutes worth of footage that might be shown at the MOMA in NY in october. according to wikipedia, some of their earlier music videos are already in the MOMA's permanent collection.
