so, i mentioned that i got that scholarship from randomhouse, right?
GET THIS: they are having a luncheon in NY in our honor and so that we can meet the president and they are FLYING US OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and then we get a private tour of the MOMA!!!!!!! at the end of july! weeeeeeeeeee!!! so so so excited. ah.
that's pretty much all i had to report. i'm just stting at home now, hangin out. i don't know where my mom and brother are... and i just had a phone interview with KWVA, the campus radio station. they're looking for outreach associates, to do underwritting and marketing stuff. i've also applied for a job at the valley river inn, as front desk staff. that would be so fun. ja ja ja.
so it's really quite warm here. borderline too hot, actually. i've just been reading and hanging out with the fambly. jessica (sf) and her fam picked me up from the airport and stayed with us till sunday night. it was really nice! set up the ping pong table in the back and played a bunch. i'm still not any better, but i blame it on the fact that i haven't played in like, two years. no joke. we also went to la cantera to go swimming, and it was weird to go there and not have to work. i hope that there is much more pool time logged before i leave, but who knows. also: maybe a giants game on wednesday? if laurin can get it off of work. cross my fingers. i'm also hoping to convince my dad and brother to go to the deYoung on friday on our way to visit grandma and grandpa. i rrrreally want to go, and the last two times i've been home since it reopened it just hasn't happened. but now, i'm going, even if they have to drop me off to wander around by myself.
ok! time to start my day. pool time, then maybe a movie? ahhhh i love summer.
