Round-up
Feeling pretty stressed out today -
I'm taking acting lessons from a friend of mine, but we haven't been meeting regularly, I'm noticing that I keep talking about upgrading my calendar and the scheduling I'm doing for things, and not actually doing it, with predictable results.
The Landmark course I've been taking has been producing nice results in turns of me moderating my personal drama a bit, but as those of you who know me know, sometimes there's a lot to moderate :) Looks like I'm going to miss the beginning of the upcoming weekend this Friday, though, due to my not being ahead of the game in requesting time off at work. (cf scheduling above.) That's not a black mark on work though - just on my scatterheadedness on requesting time off.
Speaking of drama, I've been watching YAEVS recently(Yet Another Edgy Vampire Saga): True Blood. I'm loving the characters - they're finely drawn, entertaining as hell, and IMO the acting is great. I've also been loving the show's consistency. The other HBO show I was following recently, Carnevale, started out amazingly but went pretty steadily downhill from the beginning of the second season. By mid-season 2, it was pretty unrecognizable as the interesting/original show it had started as.
So far though, high hopes for Louisiana Vampires & their paramours: the show.
