A disclaimer!
I have no pretensions of being a good, or entertaining writer. I rarely update (this may change). To be honest, I struggle with writing, especially for an audience (real or imagined). However, I'd like to have a venue for the occasional newspost, lifeflash, or random musing, and this is as good a venue as any (with the added advantage of not getting lost every few weeks). With any luck, this journal may mimic the path of many webcomic artists: reasonably terrible and poorly drawn in the beginning, gradually moving towards proficiency and style in the end.
So, a big entry today.
Let's see. The basics. I have a girlfriend. An apartment. A job. A penchant to act, and, sometimes, sing. I guess I'm writing this entry to commemorate the fact that this fall I'm taking a big risk, perhaps a first time for one this size, and moving to New York to pursue acting. I've been living in Saratoga for over two years, and working at a local college for close to a year. This weekend I'm going to Coney Island with Artemis, and perhaps to a party for a friend as well.
Who I am right now. Someone learning to deal with risks in ways that don't involve all-night avoidance gaming sessions (or the like).
