I participated in the Support Stacie Auction, which is the same as FGB. It started because I was bored and I was browsing through all the auctions. Honestly, there was only one author who was willing to write Jacob/Bella. And even, she usually writes Jacob/Nessie but was willing to give a shot to Jacob/Bella if it was requested. I hate to admit it but I'm in love with her Jacob/Nessie fic (runs and hides).

I know it's not legal since as you said it, we pay for characters which aren't ours in the first place but I feel that these events get a lot of exposure and it people wanted them to be cancelled they would have been a long time ago.

In the end, I paid less than what I gave because the bid was in Dollar and my currency is Euro but it felt nice to know that even a small amount of money could help people. I wanted to switch to the other side for FGB but RL got the best of me and I had no time to write a new fic.

What I'll remember is that I got out of this auction with a new friend and a Jacob/Bella one-shot written only for me with my very (crazy) ideas, a character who had my name and I love everything about it.
