Hey there,
We're in D.C just setting up for sound check. I'm slacking off a bit cuz I got a bad headache caused by bad lifting techniques ealrier today Waaaaa!
BUT my spirits are high. I'm really looking forward to the show and we just spent a few hours running around at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum trying to take in all of the amazing exhibitions. I usually get all snobby at museums cuz i hate how they "dumb down" the nerdy info and turn EVERYTHING into an "interactive" display. Boring! But the Smithsonian was ALL class. The display were soooo good looking, the information was incredible and I have neverever seen anything quite like the skeleton display. I'm pumped!

Last night we stayed in Delaware. All we did all night was quote Waynes World "Hi...we're in Delaware".
Before that, we were in Philly. Ahhh Philly. The only day off of this WHOLE tour was spent in Philly. Mostly it was all about laundry and shopping. Sam and Gus did all of our laundry. Haima and Jamie were guitar parts shopping, James was record shopping, Tara and Isobel were shoe shopping, Birdy was headphones shopping and I was thrift shopping. I found an amazing 7" by Vanity 6 and another piece of sliverware to add to our bag of trinkets. We've taken to finding things in all the cities we are visiting that we can bang and hit and turn into percussion onstage. In the evening we went for a walk amongst the ruins of a mansion and then Mike's mum, Beth and brother, Nick cooked a huge feast for ALL of us. There is nothing better than homecooked meal after too much IHOP. Thank you!

I wanted to say sorry again to those who planned to come to the shows we had to cancel in Cananda. Especially if you had driven a long way. ON that note a big shout out and thanks to Stacey and Christian who i met in Minneapolis who had driven 8 hours to get to our show! AND their car broke down along the way AND they hired a new one just to make it in time! When I told the rest of the group, jaws hit the floor.

If any of my friends in Melbourne are reading this (Genny??), I miss you.

With LOVE
Kellie xoxoxoxoxo
