SPOILERS FOR WAREHOUSE 13, S03E02
Obviously, I loved Myka's reference to H.G. Wells. Mainly because I love anything to do with H.G. Wells. I prefer the word "misguided," but I guess when you try to end the world, the use of the word "psychotic" is... understandable.
Did anyone else notice how Myka is wearing H.G.'s outfits? Not that her wardrobe is trying to tell us anything about her change in character since that day. SHE JUST MISSES HER MISGUIDED BBY, OKAY? Anyway, I'm certainly not complaining about the wardrobe change, because Joanne Kelly pulls it off nicely and I get to stare at her all episode long. If you're not already watching Warehouse 13, then you should start. And this is why.
Look at her in that shirt. Just look.
And here she is, struttin' her stuff in the same hot outfit as she goes to save Pete. And also the rest of the amnesia-ed people. Is she badass, or what?
Steve officially came out on the show! I mean, we knew this already thanks to Joanne's interview, but. WHATEVER. He and Claudia are great together. I'm warming up to him already.
I think this is the first episode where I could actually see a sliver of Myka/Pete; it happened towards the beginning of the episode, for just an instant. (One of those blink-and-you-miss-it sort of things). Of course, it doesn't compare to the Myka/H.G. that explodes onscreen everytime Joanne and Jaime have a scene together.
Poor, poor Pete, always getting left... it was a bit heavy-handed and I didn't like that they spelled it out for us (we know, thank you very much), but it was handled well enough.
Pete: Uh, what? Are you leaving?
Myka: Yeah, I gotta go stop a bad guy.
Pete: I wanna come with you.
Myka: No, you can't. It's dangerous.
Pete: But you're leaving.
Myka: I'm coming back. Pete, I will come back. I promise.
Pete: Just go. I don't care.
When Myka asked who uses tie clips anymore these days, did anyone else think of Neal Caffrey?
Also, when Myka was speaking to the Regents at the end, did anyone else get the strange feeling she was talking about herself and H.G.?
