As you might have heard if you're involved in LJ Idol, tinhuviel (season one winner) is in hospital at the moment.  I was planning on sending over some flowers and then a friend pointed out that it might be nicer if there was a more collective effort so that when she's feeling a bit better, she'll have something more permanent as a reminder that she is

That's great - boosting the signal helps. I've put the word out to other friends of mine that don't know her but have read her books, so hopefully some of her fans will contribute as well.

I'll put up a note and let people know how we're getting on - so far we're about half way to getting a Kindle. If that's all the money we get, I don't mind topping up the balance, so even if there isn't a nice cover with it, she'll definitely get the Kindle.

But thank you - Tin's good people and she deserves to know that.
