i heart indie holidays- Seattle recap & site update ^_^

Nov 30, 2007 11:09

okay so it was last weekend. but i totally have a valid excuse- my computer died. but now its fixed and all is super awesome again. so here's what happend:

this was our (ihr) first time in at this location at the seattle center. lots of new & old vendors such as:

Sara's Devout Dolls. I love her & her stuff & she is one of my favourite customers ^_^ My daughter's most favourite thing is a double ended deer that I got from Sara. Please go check out her site!

Esther & her sockmonsters

Allison's beautiful earrings & stuff.

Tina's stuff!!! Tina was my tablemate. She missed the application deadline so we camped it out together at the event & we had super fun. We even went over to the free photobooth that we had there and dressed up in Santa Claus attire and held some wreath around our faces that had breakable ornaments on them and I of course totally broke some. Gah! But she is a total hoot & her stuff is so cool. She makes earrings, pet squeaky toys & pet collars in awesome prints. Oh and her man was suuuuuper awesome & brought us lunch!!! I love people who bring me food. ^_^

The Tastie Pastie girls where there:

Gunlis- I love her stuff I actually bought some stuff from her. And she gave me an amazing deal!

Karl of course!

and there were a couple surprise appearances! Mike who was a vendor with IHR for a long time then he joined the girls over at UCU (which is this weekend by the way...) and I haven't seen him in a while. It was great to see him. ^_^

And two gals I've painfully been missing....

Anna & Sara. Two totally super awesome people ^_^

Here's a shot of our promo table

I spy a Jet City Rollergirls handout, a postcard for the next big show I'll be at & my image that has been plastered online & in the Stranger. Its weird to be known as "hey you're that girl in the Stranger".

Here's a picture of an absolute highlight for me at the show. I had noticed this camera crew floating around with their equipment talking & filming stuff.

I had no idea what they were doing, who they were & all that jazz. I had to go talk to Cass (the IHR mama) about something & she basically tossed me in front of these camera people to talk about my stuff. They were filming a show for the Korean American (KOAM) channel here in Washington. I about crapped myself. For those who know me. I have a slight sick obsession with Korean dramas. I don't watch much TV but when I do its Korean. I also get mistaken for being Korean more than anything else...weird. Anywhoo- I had one of those weird TheaSpazzy moments and I quickly talked about my crap that I make & then proceeded to talk the girls (hosting the show) ears off about Korean drama shows. Nerdy I know, but I was crazy excited.

More pictures from I Heart Indie Holidays- Seattle are on my Flickr. Please check them out! I added some links to my friend's sites.

ALSO.... I updated my site. Fully loaded with new kanzashi & resin pieces.

Sorry no bags, scarves & wallets this time around. I'm saving those up for my up coming local shows.

Happy Friday everyone!!!
