In order to put the house on the market, we're working on de-cluttering. I think we were cluttered when we moved from the apartment. No wonder we're getting squeezed out of this small house! Most of my personal clutter is in the kitchen and clothing (such a girl) but the rest of it, like any good geek, is books and media. In a way, I'm looking

Yes, I will agree that XIII is the best looking of all the FF games. But that's only because the technology is there. I do like all the characterizations other than Hope. I found him annoying at the start, but at least I could understand why and accept that. When he does the whole 'face turn' that was too sudden and totally ruined whatever they were trying to build him out to be. I mean you don't go from 'I hate you for killing my mother' to 'The world is roses, let's go save it!' in the span of one night. I'm sorry, but things like that take time and growth and it's not something you can do overnight. They really built up Hope's character (I hated the character but I would admit it was good story) and then sneezed on it and tossed it out the window as Snow jumped and saved Hope. Either that or Hope is so fragile a character in game and in story that he needs a good psychitrist as well as some heavy body armor.

And as I said, I really liked the story...up to a point. I wish more of it was in game and not having to read through all of it. I mean if I wanted to read an FF novel I'd...oh wait they don't make those. And then after I beat down Cid to me that felt like the end of the game. Just like in FFVI the 'halfway' boss fight felt like the end of the game to me. And thus it's really hard for me to want to go on as I feel like I've already finished what I set out to do.

So maybe I might go back and finish it, but I'd need other people to tell me that it is 'really' worth it since I already know I'd have to put up with using Hope since reading ahead there are so many fights you 'HAVE' to use him even though the game gives you the illusion that you can pick who you want.

On the plus side I can say I like Hope more than Vicki Gurrero (sp).
