Have you ever had one of those moments where you were just mentally flatlining and couldn't warm up even wrapped in several blankets, a fleece-lined shirt, and a knit cap? You cocoon in several blankets on the couch and slip into a several hour-long coma and wake up to realize the world didn't wait for you?
I had one of those moments tonight and for that, I have to apologize to darkisawa. The dear stayed up while I slept and worked on assembling the keychains for this weekend. They look great (thanks to his hard work in trimming)! I feel a moment of Meglish with multiple keyboard mashes and several hundred semicolons. Please apply them mentally.
The worst part of it all is while I'm mentally refreshed, my body is still fatigued. Getting our prints done at Office Max took them almost a full 2 HOURS because INCOMPETO the Training Print Employee and then his acting Manager-Man couldn't figure out how to get my photoprints to stop printing at fax-quality rather than full quality. That is, until Bo and I held the Manager's hand through Photoshop and worked one on one with him rather than the Boob who tried to PHOTOCOPY two of the keychain prints he already made.
Sweet boy-- he really was and I understand why he was trying to take shortcuts, but he didn't understand that in printing the quality really does show.
Now I have a whole stack of scrap prints they gave us for free. I suppose I can offer those out to any who want them. Otherwise, tomorrow is filled with making sure everything is ready to go (and possibly testing out my new bristol to see with which Prismacolors are most copesetic).
I slept for two solid hours while Bo worked hard!
