Great Ocean Road - Robe to Adelaide
Lots of driving today - we took our total up to 1500km before dropping the car off in Adelaide.
On the way we visited a very quiet Aboriginal Culture Center (we were the only visitors), had a good chat with the people there, they showed us a video about their Dreaming (creation myth). It seemed to be a very good way to pass on information about the local geography - where food and shelter could be found, and a few dos and donts in a story so it was easy to remember.
The scenery got really really big - there were massive flat expanses of scrub and bushes and not a lot else. It was pretty in a big, expansive sort of way. We saw some wild emus running around, and some pelicans.
Lots of driving, it was kinda nice to ditch the car, but I miss it too - it was a dinky little thing, with a piddly little engine, but I'd got used to how to get a decent corner out of it, just as long as you didn't try and accelerate uphill it was peachy :)
