Raise Your First In The Air

Hey everyone,

Well, last night I went to the destructive Throwdown's show in San Francisco. After school, I went home and then got a ride to my brother Phil's house and we went to Tully's. We sat there and talked to Allie for a bit and then Will came and we left for Throwdown. Right as we get on the bridge, some fuck cuts right in front of us illegally (there was plastic baracades and there was a spot open and he went through that into the carpool lane) and almost hit us. Will was pissed as fuck and if we weren't on the fuckin' bridge, we would've got out of the car and threw down in the middle of the street. So, we got there and watched the bands Point Taken, Love Hope And Fear who rocked amazingly hard, The Program's Stillborn Records labelmates The Risk Taken, Australia's Day Of Contempt, and then... the almight fuckin' Throwdown. They came on and busted into "Intro/Never Back Down" and it was fuckin' nuts. They played the following songs (once again, I don't know the order because I was singing the whole night and didn't write them down):

"Intro/Never Back Down"
"Walk Away"
"Raise Your Fist"
"Hopeless"
"You Can't Kill Integrity"
"Unite"
"Slip"
"Family"
"Nothing Left"
"Forever"
"Don't Lose Sight"

After "Forever", the fans kept chanting "One more! One more!" and so they came back out and tore it up with "Don't Lose Sight". Afterwards, I got to shake Throwdown's guitarist Matt Mentley's hand, as well as shake Throwdown bassist Dom Macaluso's hand and talk to him and got a few bass picks of his. I also got to talk to Throwdown's new drummer Ben Dussault who's been with them for about 5 months or so; he's the fuckin' coolest guy. Afterwards, I crashed and Phil's house and voila... here I am. Talia, I wish you could've come; it was intense!
