Um, I'm terrible with jokes, but here's one:
There was this Indian chief named Bowels who ruled the great Sioux tribe in North Dakota in 1896. Now the lands they lived on were right in the way of a proposed railroad which the U.S. wanted to build to California. So they sent out a U.S. Territorial agent to visit with Chief Bowels, hoping to retain the lands his village stood upon. The agent met with the Chief in his teepee. After smoking a nice, mellow peace pipe, he laid forth his proposal to the Chief. The Chief responded by saying, "Bowels No Move." Mistaking his meaning, the agent returned with a box of Ex-lax, handed it to Chief Bowels, and said, "here take this. And by the way, we need your land so we can build a railroad!" Bowels shook his head and said, "Bowels no Move!" But he took the box, and received the instructions on how to take it.
The next day the agent came back, and the same thing was repeated.
The third day, the agent came back, but Bowels was standing outside. The Chief looked at him sternly, then said, "Bowels Move. Teepee full of shit!"
