Today's comic Via MacHall...

I'm sure i've mentioned before that Danny attended BGSU prior to transfering to/moving in with me at UNT. He's since come to realize early on that BGSU is full of not so fun white people. No offense to all you white people who are good, great, or just ok. It was never other students that he had problems with...it was the people within thew system itself.

We both agree that said case is the same for any webcomic. College sucks and is extremely overrated thus far. If I were so inclined, I could learn all that I have ((with the exception of AutoCAD, because the program costs over $800 alone for the crap version)) up to this point by myself. Books are there...information is there...topics are left up to debate, however, application is the easiest part.

Someone could teach you how to climb a ladder. It would be simple. But this does not inherantly imply that you will know what a rung is. get it? There-in lies the problem for me. Terminology is a bitch with computers. But I can't say I got any worse by leaving aerospace engineering. I went from learning Hatches to learning Hashes...from MatLab to Java...from advanced Physics to advanced algorithms. *le sigh*

Anyways, those guys in the comic. Danny's met them before. He says they look and act the same way they do in the comics. He said he used to see Matt around the Journalism department quite often up at Bowling Green. Danny used to be a Journalism Major when he was there, so I could see why he would see him so frequently. I kinda envied danny. He attended college with one of the funniest Webcomic writers I've ever seen...

...and yet...it was all so casual.

Hmm. The price of infamy is pretty steep.

Anyways, Thursday concert tonight (The Shirts for a Cure Tour!!!!). Ironic still that I get to see Thursday on Thursday. I think the concert's at the Pharr convention center if anyone wants to go. I'll be going with Kelsey, and we'll be rocking out there with some of her friends. The Matchbook Romance concert is tomorrow at La Villareal in McAllen. Going with Sarah to that. Probably get to see Tiff and the gang too...haven't seen those cool kids in a while. Maybe THEY can make me genuinely smile.

Saturday I leave...
...anyone wanting to see me...this is your last chance really.
Call me before tomorrow.
and perhaps we can do lunch or something.
anyways, I'm off...I'd better make sure I have pants for tonight...and a shirt...and some socks...you get the idea.
