Poor Phone
Well, I guess my phone is dying. Just a couple weeks short of a year after I bought it! I spent an hour on the phone today trying to get assistance (if you ever want to experience dystopia firsthand, call a customer service call center), but they've washed their hands of it, and that's what I get for buying a cheap phone from a cheap carrier. I think I might leave Tracfone after this, if there are any alternative prepaid carriers available.
But that's for the future. For the time being I can't justify the money to buy a new phone, especially after losing so much money this month due to being sick, so I will just have to hope the current phone doesn't completely give out.

At least I made it to 172 Flames on my Snapchat Streak with my sister yesterday! As it would turn out, this morning was literally the last time the screen would work normally, so I wasn't a moment too soon!
Poor phone...I never really warmed up to Big Jiji the way I did to the original Jiji. It just wasn't the same pleasure to use, and the user interface wasn't as enjoyable. But it did its job, and I certainly didn't dislike it. I'm sad that the screen is dying. I'm also honestly stumped. I never did anything to the phone...never dropped it, never got it wet. I've had screens die on me before (e.g., Archimedes) and partially die (my standalone LCD monitor), but never so quickly and with so little use. At the time I read that LG is probably getting out of the cell phone game...and it's sad to see this phone apparently bear the scars of that failure.
