So today i managed to forget it was only early september, and somehow convinced myself id missed something thats not actually happening for another three weeks.

I also won a teapot on a raffle and actually managed to get greengages at the local supermarket. They arent quite ripe yet, but i can make us for the tea pot :) big enough for two large mugs ( Read more... )

Why is it so difficult to get hold of greengages? I can get rhubarb in a few places, but crabapples and rowan berries i have to pick wild if i want any. If i can find them. Rowan isnt too bad, but im yet to locate any good crabapple trees near me.

Other half says its because they are posionous. They aren't.
