You're dead on, there. I just saw the episode where Shepard was kept prisoner by the rogue Genii and was fed upon by a Wraith with whom he then actually bonded. It was "Enemy Mine" in 30 minutes, but you could see that he enjoyed it.

Then the episode with McKay underwater. Or when Rodney had to see the humanized Wraith killed to keep them from telling their secret. Or the aged Elizabeth. Or McKay with the Lieutenant in his mind. Or when Shepard and Weir were taken over by the feuding mind-imprints...

These people really, really like their characters, and it shows. And you're right, only very few series manage that. To be honest, the only other one I can actually say the same about is "That 70s Show" in which the actors grew into a "family" during the show's run.

I don't like Jericho as it's too much like a Soap Opera set during a Post Apocalypse.

And while Sarah Connor is fun, it's really nothing outstanding. I hope they pick up "speed" soon with that series. It has promise, they have to work on it, though.

Ah, the SGA 40k words story, isn't it? *smiles*

Those creativity-highs can be a real pain, I know that. Because when your brain's all fired up, there is no sleep to be found as Ideas and Images are pumping into your skull every damn moment...

Yeah, hugs really are good... :)
