Today, in a nutshell.
2am (midnight local time): Got on plane. Sleep was fitful.
6am: Got off plane. Unpacked, sorted house out a bit, washing and other domestic stuff.
7am: Crash.
12pm: Get up, start organising megpie71's care package and finding a courier. Too local, not local enough, doesn't go to Perth, runaround runaround, found one. Package sent. More domestic cleaning, washing, blah. Catch up with email a bit.
3pm: Ken The Mortgage Guy arrives. We go over some figures. Summary: We're not quite screwed. Could be worse.
4pm: Go to pick up car from garage. Surprise surprise, something expensive is broken. They've slapped on a temporary seal, but no car for me until tomorrow morning. This kind of kills other plans I had for today, but they can wait.
To-do: Get a lot of sleep tonight. Tomorrow there is a much to be done.
