Garden dude is here. We'll be in Perth in 14 hours.
Just received tax docs from work and the final paperwork from the conveyancers. Looks good.
One thing I noticed about having the garden spiffed up (well, mowed and cleared of leaves) by a professional instead of doing it myself - there's something really ego-boosting about hiring other people to do stuff. Even if it's only once in a blue moon, for those few hours I can pretend that I'm wealthy.
"Oh yes, Lord Stuckup, I have people working for me ALL THE TIME, you know. People. Whom I hired. To do stuff. Because I can afford it, you know. Being rich and all."
(Most of all, though, there's just a sense of relief that the work is being done and it's not me doing it. Hee.)
