The young brunette screamed in anguish as the tall dark figure slashed at her neck. The knife penetrated her flesh and her life's blood sprayed from the gaping wound. Her lover turned and fled like a coward, stumbling frantically over exposed roots as he zigzagged through the trees. No matter how fast he ran, the murderer was right behind him. His voice cried out in agony at the first stab to his back and he fell to the ground. Then the psycho killer turned him over and ripped his stomach open, pulling his insides out.
"Ah, that must be painful."
"Yeah, I think that getting your intestines ripped out would kinda hurt."
"I wasn't talking about the victim."
Gojyo looked over at the blank expression on Hakkai's face. The light from the screen shined over his face, highlighting some of his features while leaving others obscured in darkness. Then Gojyo realized that Hakkai had been sympathizing with the serial killer. "You're fucking creepy."
"Ah, that must be painful."
