Saiyuki Sims v.2
It seems like all of the Saiyuki comms are inundated with fics right now. So instead of posting the two that I have done and adding to the confusion, I decided to so this instead.
The last time I posted Saiyuki Sims I mentioned that there were no pre-arranged relationships, right? Well, for this game I went ahead and gave the boys relationships. Unfortunately, about the only thing you can do is decide which characters are married, which have a parent/child relationship, and which are siblings. It doesn't have any options for people who are just lovers and not married, or for friends, or for any other kind of relationship.
So, I made Sanzo Goku's father. I wanted to make Goku and Gojyo siblings, but because Gojyo was an adult and Goku was a child, it wouldn't let me. There's nothing for a teacher/student relationship either, so I thought... well, Hakkai is kinda like a second parent to Goku. Little did I know that making two Sims the parent of the same child automatically makes them married. (Ah, what? They won't let you have kids out of wedlock in this game?) Anyway, I thought I might as well run with it, because Hakkai's lifetime goal is to be surrounded by family and this might be the only chance I have to make that work. No matter how many times I try to get Hakkai fixed up with Gojyo, they never get married. Gojyo always cheats on him before that can happen.
The funny thing is that when I started the game, Hakkai immediately decided that he wanted to have Sanzo's babies. I haven't figured out how to take a picture of the user-interface for the game, so regrettably, I can't show you. Instead, here's a picture of the happy family!
I've noticed that Goku's response to pretty much anything that Sanzo and Hakkai do is to ignore it, and either eat, or think about food.
Anyway, Hakkai and Sanzo were just instantly infatuated with each other.
Hakkai: Sanzo... how do you feel about adoption?
Sanzo: What?!
Hakkai was unable to convince Sanzo to let him adopt a child, so he waited until Sanzo was alseep to call the adoption agency. The social worker finally arrived in the middle of the night, and they were both sleeping by then.
So the social worker left poor baby Lilly lying on the floor in a basket. (This game is not realistic at all, did I mention that?) The first person to hear her crying was Gojyo. Uncle Gojyo loves his little niece, so he gently picks her up and puts her to bed. AWWW~!
First thing in the morning, mommy!Hakkai gets up to feed the baby.
Sanzo was not amused to wake up and find a baby in the house. He made several grouchy comments about Hakkai 'ordering infants behind his back'.
Sanzo: Don't they even let you choose the color?
Hakkai: They didn't give me any choice... but, why does it matter?
Sanzo: ...it doesn't match.
Hakkai: Are you trying to say something, Sanzo?
Sanzo: People are going to know that it's not ours.
Hakkai: Sanzo, we're both men. They're already going to know that.
Sanzo: ....
At any rate, Hakkai insists that Lilliy have some bonding time with her 'Daddy'. Sanzo really doesn't seem to mind all that much.
Sanzo's parenting methods can be a bit lazy at times, and Goku is too busy with school and friends to pay much attention to the new baby.
Hakkai decides to get Goku involved anyway. After all, there's nothing wrong with watching a litte TV together while he's holding Lilly.
Kids grow up fast, don't they? Lilly is now a toddler.
Hakkai was more than happy to be the one to teach her how to talk...
...and how to walk.
Even after he just got home from work, Sanzo couldn't resist picking Lilly up and giving her a little tickle.
It took awhile, but Goku eventually warmed up to his little sister too. (I think that at first he was jealous because she was getting all the attention.)
Hakkai and Sanzo are happy with each other again.
Gojyo, on the other hand, feels left out. Why do Hakkai and Sanzo get all the nookie?
In addition to that, Hakkai and Sanzo both go to work every day, leaving Gojyo to watch the baby. It's really his own fault, though. He couldn't hold down a steady job, anyway. Gojyo says, "What am I, your babysitter?"
No, Gojyo... you're just a stay-at-home-kappa.
So when they get home form work, Gojyo decides that he needs to spend a little time with the ladies.
