If I had to choose my favorite part of Desolation Island it would be the whole damn thing. Cover to cover. A very exciting volume. The Dutchman. The Island. The Americans. And I will forever remember the line "My God, oh my God... 600 men."
I watched a little bit of Pride today. Found it quite by accident, flipping channels while waiting for the Captain to do whatever she was doing. And kept watching, waiting to hear Sean. And when the girl lion mentioned the "wanderer" and her mother became enraged, I knew that was Sean's character. Sure enough. And as much as I like his voice and accent, I couldn't take it. Really really really weird.
Sharpe's Siege today, and it was fantastic. But a question about that, too: at the very end he pulls something out of his jacket. What the hell was that?
