I arrived at my sister's to find the nephew watching Robin Hood. So I watched. It's been a while since I've seen it but I know it line for line (it was, in fact, my video tape he was watching and I cannot say how many times I've seen it). I always loved it, still do. Though now I can see a lot of really cheezy and cliche bits about it and I realized just how astonishingly Bad a Robin Hood Kevin Costner makes. I mean, what were they thinking?? I was constantly hearing Cary Elwes in my head: "...and unlike some Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent." (Audience: "ooooohhh....")
Always. Always. My favorite bits are Alan Rickman's evilly hilarious Sherriff Noddingham.
