Hehe, the two-headed dog. That part upset me because Mulder had to kill it! and the one head was still alive! Poor freakish doggy. :(
I think the "I want to Believe" was even more about Scully than Mulder. There were many eps that revolved around Scully's faith, in God, in herself, in Mulder. And she was tested on all of these!
It could also be a reference to us desperate viewers, who all want to believe that they really lived happily ever after! ^ ^
That was great for me, too, the Mulder finally chose Scully over the job, over the search, over the TRUTH! As he should have. Good boy,Mulder. *pets him* ^ ^
