There seems to be no end to my posting today. Obviously, everything I post is not of utter global importance. This one, however, just might be.

The Libertine is the story of the Earl of Rochester, a womanizing, drunken, sodomite, playwright and poet who, in the seventeenth century, seems to have drank and fucked himself to death by the age of 33. In the movie, out in some countries last year, the Earl is played by (who else?) Johnny Depp.

Why is this movie a secret? Has anyone else heard about it? And when in the name of excess and sodomy do we get to see it?!

He's also making another Hunter S. Thompson adaptation! The Rum Diary. Directed by Benicio Del Toro!
