Notes: I had fun with this and I wish I’d had more time but I had so much going on. Sorry it’s un-beta’d my usual beta had to pull out at the last minute :(. But anyway I really hope you enjoy the fic as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Joonmyeon sat looking at the man across from him, who'd said his name when he'd arrived at the office and Joonmyeon had been playing with the name of the other in his head the whole time. "So you agreed to be the donor to my group of friends." he said and walked over to Joonmyeon, he leant close to the boy and then sighed. "But primarily you will be mine, you will be paid handsomely and honestly we would prefer it if you moved in, you'd be protected but we would pay more." Luhan said quietly, he pressed a soft kiss to Joonmyeon's neck and sighed when the other tensed.
"I'm not an escort." he said quietly.
"Oh I know. No one's asking you to have sex." Luhan said before he slowly sunk his teeth into Joonmyeon's neck, cliche? yes, but it was the easiest way to get to a good blood source. Luhan smirked when the other held onto his arms and he continued to drink from the other, he smiled when he pulled back and pressed a tissue to Joonmyeon's neck. Luhan licked his lips, and then moved to his desk. "I want to offer you the job, you'll be the perfect donor." Luhan sat down at his desk and pushed over a paper, "you need to sign a form, you can't tell people what we are, and what you do for us." he sighed, "we'll pay you but also if you live with us we'll feed you with no change to the cash in hand you'll get after every feed." Luhan moved and handed over an envelope, "that's 100,000 won. If you feed more than one person in a day you'll get 50,000 more for each extra feed, but we do limit it because it's not good for you to over feed."
"So all I do is sit for a few minutes while you suck my blood?" Joonmyeon sighed a little, he could do that, he should have realised what a donor was. There were rumours about this kind of thing but right now he needed the money so he couldn't really turn it down. His dad was sick and he needed to keep up with the payments towards his dad's treatment and he didn't have a place to stay so he guessed this was going to be ok. "I can go freely?"
"Yes, but we will message you when we require your services and we do expect you to come home and sit for a feed. I read that you dropped out of college so we don't have to worry about you in school. And I know your father is sick so if it's an emergency with him just drop us a message." He said shifting to look at the other, "I would really like to move you in, and show you my friends, you're going to feed them too." he said with a smile.
Joonmyeon nodded, it wasn't like he had anywhere to go. Joonmyeon sighed a little and got up following Luhan's command, he felt a little dizzy which he assumed was from giving Luhan his blood. He was taken to a limousine and sighed looking out the window. "Joonmyeon we're not going to hurt you." Luhan said.
"No, of course not, you're just going to drain my blood." Joonmyeon snapped before mumbling "sorry."
"It's fine Joonmyeon, everyone gets a little irritable after feeding, you get used to it." Luhan said before getting Joonmyeon out of the limousine and walking him into a huge house. "Guys, we've got a donor." he said and smiled when five guys came down. "This is EXO, Tao, Lay, Xiumin, Chen, Kris." he said and Joonmyeon nodded, there would be no way he'd remember all these names and then there was the fact he couldn't tell any of his friends. "I'll take you to the donor room in a second. Does anyone need a feed?"
Tao spoke up, "I need to feed, but Ge, why do you always bring boys back, you're the only one who likes that." he whined a little, "When are you going to bring home a sexy girl for us to feed off." Tao whined. Joonmyeon eyed Luhan and then looked at the others, apparently sexuality played a part in it. He didn't know why but it intrigued him. He was gay, but he wasn't going to tell any of these people that.
"Hey, he's cute and he's a good donor, he didn't fight on the first blood taking." Luhan said before guiding Joonmyeon back into a room. It was bigger than the apartment he'd lived in until his dad got sick and they had to use rent money to pay for his dad's hospital bills. "Joonmyeon, don't worry about what the others said, I might have picked you because you're my type but I'm not going to touch you in anyway, and they're all straight so you'll be able to live easily here." he gave a little shrug, "Tao will be in soon to feed, he's a little timid when it comes to feeding on humans so he'll be gentle." Luhan assured before leaving Joonmyeon to himself.
He wondered how he could have got himself into this, did this count as having a sugar daddy? He was pretty relieved to hear that it was only Luhan who was interested in men and then that he wasn't going to touch him. For some reason Joonmyeon believed that, he knew the other wasn't going to do anything he didn't want him to. He jolted a little when there was knock and he opened the door to Tao who came in holding an envelope. "I know Luhan told you how it works, so 150,000 won" he said putting the envelope on the desk and then moving to sit Joonmyeon down and looking at the boys neck. "I'll just take from where Ge did." he said quietly, sinking his teeth into the partially healed holes, and starting to drain blood. Tao pulled back and Joonmyeon looked at him. "Luhan Ge was right, you donate well. It's easier for him to take blood from you because he finds you attractive, and you like him." Tao shifted to get up, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, "attraction is the key to a good feed, which is why I had to follow his marks."
Joonmyeon looked at Tao, "I don't think he's attractive." he leant back feeling a little dizzy, "How often do you guys feed?"
"It depends." Tao shrugged, "Luhan will feed from you most, he doesn't believe in taking blood from people you aren't paying and looking after. The rest of us feed in clubs off girls who dance with us, it's not nice but we need to do it." Tao looked at Joonmyeon, "But even if there was a girl here we'd still do it. It's not against you and it's not because Luhan's gay he feeds off a paid donor. Luhan is the oldest vampire here, and before he made a coven with us his coven had a paid donor, and if you didn't feed of the paid donor you couldn't feed - unless you were in a relationship.In the past feeding was a romantic thing or a necessity so he is sorta against the way we do it."
"The one night stand version of taking blood?" Joonmyeon said and then smiled when Tao nodded.
"Yeah, he hates it, if you're here over nights and stuff you'll probably hear him when one of us comes home, he can just tell when we've fed off someone and he'll shout at us." Tao looked at the boy, "the saddest part is, when Luhan got turned into being a vampire it was a time where men couldn't be with other men and he's never fed off a lover." Tao sighed, "I think that's why he always brings home attractive male donors, it's the closest he'll get."
"He wants to date the boys he brings home?"
"Sort of. If he wasn't... stuck in the past maybe. But he doesn't date donors. He is unique even for a vampire. Lovers feed best because like I said before attraction is key." Tao sighed, "Before you even say anything anyone that feeds after Luhan will be able to tell you are attracted to him, I can feel it, it makes it easier for you to donate so don't worry about it." Tao sighed a little, "Don't, tell him I told you, this is as good as it's gonna get for him."
"He can't just find a boyfriend?"
"No." Tao said quietly, "He's never taken a boyfriend, I don't think he can." Tao bit his lip, "I know he suffered when he was human and as a young vampire for his sexual orientation." Tao sighed, "He has nightmares, he never talked about what happened, but he just has never let a guy get close to him." Tao shrugged, "oh and you didn't hear any of that, I'm just telling you because if you don't know and you mention any of it accidentally you're going to hurt him, and I'm not going to allow you to hurt him."
Joonmyeon just nodded. "Got it, didn't hear anything. But can I ask one thing. You guys live mostly like we do right? Sleeping, working and stuff."
Tao nodded, "Everything but eating. However, Xiumin, can eat. He is half human. That happens very very rarely, but he does take blood he just takes it a lot less than us, you'll probably see him once a month. Luhan will be weekly, or twice a week and the rest of us will be one or two times in two weeks."
"So the chances of me getting extra pay is low?"
"Unless something happens your best bet is someone feeding after Luhan." Tao shrugged, "You're surprisingly calm about this, normally the guys Luhan brings back are a little jumpy about it."
"I need the money." Joonmyeon shrugged, "Plus Luhan said I'm free to come and go out of the house as I please as long as I'm back if someone needs a feed." Joonmyeon smiled, "So I can meet my friends and go to the hospital to see my dad."
"I'm sorry about your dad." Tao said quietly, "So you know Luhan would have chosen you even if he hadn't liked your appearance, he's got some kind of a hero complex, he likes to help people who need money, we don't lose donors, he helps them with what they need and then helps them move out and look after themselves." Tao said before walking out.
Joonmyeon couldn't help but feel optimistic, Luhan was going to help him out with his dad and then let him leave. He knew it was going to be worth it in the end and honestly, he was thankful he found the job.
A few weeks later Joonmyeon was settled, he'd visited his father often and Luhan had been spending a lot of time with him. Joonmyeon wondered if the other wanted to be with him or if he was just lonely. He smiled when the other asked about his father, he was getting better now his medical bills were bring paid and they could try more treatments.
It was months before they were sat in Joonmyeon's room and Luhan took his hand. Joonmyeon had been spending so much time with Luhan that he was really starting to fall for the man and he grew more and more curious about the other's past, and why the other wasn't looking for a long term partner. He sighed a little and moved to rest against Luhan. "You never tell me about yourself, you just always ask about me." Joonmyeon said quietly.
"There's not much to say, I'm ethnically Han Chinese, I was turned when I was 22 years old, and I've just been a vampire since."
Joonmyeon just nodded, "I'm twenty in 3 weeks." he said quietly.
"Got any plans for it?"
"Yeah, I'm gonna spend the morning with my dad in the hospital, hopefully he'll be awake then. Then I'm going to spend the afternoon with Kai and Baekhyun because they don't have class." he said with a smile.
On his birthday Joonmyeon did exactly what he'd told Luhan he was going to, and sat in a cafe with Kai and Baekhyun.
"I don't get why you don't tell your sexy landlord how much you want him to bone you for your birthday." Baekyeon said with a small whine, clearly Joonmyeon had mentioned Luhan too much.
"He's not my landlord, I have a room in his place." Joonmyeon sighed.
"No one cares, just ask him to bone you, or I'll ask him to bone you." Baekhyun said with a small glare. "You don't have to get fucked tonight but at least get a kiss or something."
Joonmyeon was surprised when he got home to find a small bag on his desk, he smiled opening it and finding a shirt and a note from Luhan.
I will be home later, no one will need you to donate today I told them all it's your birthday. I'll bring you so dinner home, so don't cook ok?
Joonmyeon changed into the shirt. He sat waiting for the knock on the door, that was Luhan. He smiled when it came opening the door and greeting the man enthusiastically. They both took their normal positions sat on Joonmyeon's bed watching the television, hands inter-locked. Joonmyeon decided enough was enough and he moved to give the vampire next to him a kiss. He pulled back and looked at Luhan. Luhan closed the gap and kissed Joonmyeon again.
Joonmyeon woke up the next morning, his upper body sprawled across the vampires. He moved to push himself up and smiled remembering the night before. Luhan's eyes fluttered open and if Joonmyeon didn't know the other was a vampire he would have sworn he was an angel. Luhan rubbed the other's back gently. "I shouldn't have.."
"Don't" Joonmyeon said quietly, "don't do this, I wanted it and you did too, just don't ruin it." He said resting his head back on Luhan's chest, Luhan shut up and just held the other, "I know you don't do boyfriends, or hook ups or whatever, but I do." Joonmyeon said moving to look at Luhan, "and I want to be with you." he wondered where his bravery had come from.
"I don't take lovers."
"I know." Joonmyeon said quietly.
"You remind me of him a little," Luhan started, "the guy who's the reason I got turned."
"You fell in love with a vampire?"
"No, he was a human, but we were prosecuted, and there was a part of the underground community that he introduced me to, and I ended up getting turned. I was out late one night coming home from a meeting and I got bitten." he said quietly, "and my whole life changed, I found a coven, I adjusted, everyone from my old life abandoned me, and I was terrified of anyone finding out about my preference." Luhan sighed, "It took a long time but they found out, and I was expelled. I left China with Tao."
Joonmyeon touched over Luhan's heavily scarred chest. "Human me got those." he said quietly, as Joonmyeon moved to start kissing them trying to kiss them all. "You do know you're crazy if you want to be with me." he said quietly.
"No, Luhan I want you. Every moment with you is worth a lifetime." Joonmyeon said moving to straddle the others hips leaning down for a kiss that was returned. "I love you."
"I love you too." Luhan said quietly, the pair shared another intimate kiss before being startled by a knock.
"It's me, Tao, Joonmyeon, someone's calling you."
Joonmyeon grabbed a shirt and some pants and opened the door but not far enough to see Luhan. "Yeah who is it?" He said with a smile.
"Someone called Baekhyun and... isn't that Luhan's shirt? Is he in here? Did he finally tell you he loves you?" Tao smiled, "Ge, I know you're in here, I went to wake you up and you weren't there. If you want I can put the donor ad in, we can't be the most powerful coven if we dont have a group donor."
"Put the ad in." Luhan said appearing behind Joonmyeon and holding around the boy's waist. "Joonmyeon is..." he stopped there.
"Ask me" Joonmyeon breathed out. Leaning in to give Luhan a kiss. Tao shook his head and walked off to put the ad in a for a new donor.
"Will you be mine?" Luhan breathed out, Joonmyeon nodded, pulling the other for another kiss.
"Why are you looking for another donor?" Joonmyeon asked when they pulled away. Luhan held Joonmyeon close, placing kisses at his neck.
"The way lovers feed is different," Luhan said quietly, "I will also take more blood." he bit his lip. "If you don't want to keep feeding me that's fine, I'll feed off the donor, but I'm not going to be able to feed off you if we're lovers and I'm not doing it the other way, the romantic bond is strong." he said quietly.
"Do you need a feed today." Joonmyeon asked quietly. When Luhan nodded Joonmyeon took him back to the bed and gave him a quick kiss. "Ok Luhan, show me how it's going to be." he said quietly.

"I was thinking you should get you and your dad a place," Luhan said, "I mean for when he gets out of hospital, you're welcome to stay here as long as you want but when we get a new donor you're sorta gonna have to move into my room" he shrugged.
"That's fine." Joonmyeon said with a laugh. He smiled hearing the guys outside discussing if they'd done their first lover's feed or not. Joonmyeon smiled getting dressed, and walked out holding his boyfriend's hand.
"Do you all have nothing better to do than wonder about my feeding cycle? From today on none of you can feed off Joonmyeon. There is no transition period."
"So you did the lover feed then." Lay said with a cheeky smile.
Joonmyeon blushed hard and hid his face on his boyfriend. He whined remembering Tao had told him Baekhyun had called. He didn't exactly know how he was going to explain everything. But he was sure that they'd like Luhan when they met him. Everything was going to be fine.

"He's not my landlord, I have a room in his place." Joonmyeon sighed.
"No one cares, just ask him to bone you, or I'll ask him to bone you." Baekhyun said with a small glare. "You don't have to get fucked tonight but at least get a kiss or something."
Joonmyeon was surprised when he got home to find a small bag on his desk, he smiled opening it and finding a shirt and a note from Luhan.
I will be home later, no one will need you to donate today I told them all it's your birthday. I'll bring you so dinner home, so don't cook ok?
Joonmyeon changed into the shirt. He sat waiting for the knock on the door, that was Luhan. He smiled when it came opening the door and greeting the man enthusiastically. They both took their normal positions sat on Joonmyeon's bed watching the television, hands inter-locked. Joonmyeon decided enough was enough and he moved to give the vampire next to him a kiss. He pulled back and looked at Luhan. Luhan closed the gap and kissed Joonmyeon again.
Joonmyeon woke up the next morning, his upper body sprawled across the vampires. He moved to push himself up and smiled remembering the night before. Luhan's eyes fluttered open and if Joonmyeon didn't know the other was a vampire he would have sworn he was an angel. Luhan rubbed the other's back gently. "I shouldn't have.."
"Don't" Joonmyeon said quietly, "don't do this, I wanted it and you did too, just don't ruin it." He said resting his head back on Luhan's chest, Luhan shut up and just held the other, "I know you don't do boyfriends, or hook ups or whatever, but I do." Joonmyeon said moving to look at Luhan, "and I want to be with you." he wondered where his bravery had come from.
"I don't take lovers."
"I know." Joonmyeon said quietly.
"You remind me of him a little," Luhan started, "the guy who's the reason I got turned."
"You fell in love with a vampire?"
"No, he was a human, but we were prosecuted, and there was a part of the underground community that he introduced me to, and I ended up getting turned. I was out late one night coming home from a meeting and I got bitten." he said quietly, "and my whole life changed, I found a coven, I adjusted, everyone from my old life abandoned me, and I was terrified of anyone finding out about my preference." Luhan sighed, "It took a long time but they found out, and I was expelled. I left China with Tao."
Joonmyeon touched over Luhan's heavily scarred chest. "Human me got those." he said quietly, as Joonmyeon moved to start kissing them trying to kiss them all. "You do know you're crazy if you want to be with me." he said quietly.
"No, Luhan I want you. Every moment with you is worth a lifetime." Joonmyeon said moving to straddle the others hips leaning down for a kiss that was returned. "I love you."
"I love you too." Luhan said quietly, the pair shared another intimate kiss before being startled by a knock.
"It's me, Tao, Joonmyeon, someone's calling you."
Joonmyeon grabbed a shirt and some pants and opened the door but not far enough to see Luhan. "Yeah who is it?" He said with a smile.
"Someone called Baekhyun and... isn't that Luhan's shirt? Is he in here? Did he finally tell you he loves you?" Tao smiled, "Ge, I know you're in here, I went to wake you up and you weren't there. If you want I can put the donor ad in, we can't be the most powerful coven if we dont have a group donor."
"Put the ad in." Luhan said appearing behind Joonmyeon and holding around the boy's waist. "Joonmyeon is..." he stopped there.
"Ask me" Joonmyeon breathed out. Leaning in to give Luhan a kiss. Tao shook his head and walked off to put the ad in a for a new donor.
"Will you be mine?" Luhan breathed out, Joonmyeon nodded, pulling the other for another kiss.
"Why are you looking for another donor?" Joonmyeon asked when they pulled away. Luhan held Joonmyeon close, placing kisses at his neck.
"The way lovers feed is different," Luhan said quietly, "I will also take more blood." he bit his lip. "If you don't want to keep feeding me that's fine, I'll feed off the donor, but I'm not going to be able to feed off you if we're lovers and I'm not doing it the other way, the romantic bond is strong." he said quietly.
"Do you need a feed today." Joonmyeon asked quietly. When Luhan nodded Joonmyeon took him back to the bed and gave him a quick kiss. "Ok Luhan, show me how it's going to be." he said quietly.
Luhan started off by gently kissing Joonmyeon and holding him close, the kisses began getting more intense and Joonmyeon found himself lying on his back while Luhan kissed down his stomach, unbuttoning Joonmyeon's pants and starting to stroke the others length, kissing up Joonmyeon's thighs, before finding his place and biting down on the other's thigh. Joonmyeon gasped, as Luhan kept pumping his length as he lapped up the blood. Joonmyeon sighed when he felt the fangs retract and it only took a few more strokes before he came into the others hand and Luhan moved up to give him a soft kiss.
"Is that really what it's like every time?" Joonmyeon breathed a little, holding Luhan close to him, "It was fucking hot." he smiled. "I can do this." he smiled.
"I was thinking you should get you and your dad a place," Luhan said, "I mean for when he gets out of hospital, you're welcome to stay here as long as you want but when we get a new donor you're sorta gonna have to move into my room" he shrugged.
"That's fine." Joonmyeon said with a laugh. He smiled hearing the guys outside discussing if they'd done their first lover's feed or not. Joonmyeon smiled getting dressed, and walked out holding his boyfriend's hand.
"Do you all have nothing better to do than wonder about my feeding cycle? From today on none of you can feed off Joonmyeon. There is no transition period."
"So you did the lover feed then." Lay said with a cheeky smile.
Joonmyeon blushed hard and hid his face on his boyfriend. He whined remembering Tao had told him Baekhyun had called. He didn't exactly know how he was going to explain everything. But he was sure that they'd like Luhan when they met him. Everything was going to be fine.
