(no subject)
I'm sewing my tush off over here! I have to make sure my portfolio stuff is finished by the end of the week so I can mail in my internship application. It's only a portfolio sample, but I still have to draw one more illustration and add a zipper and bow to the little white dress I made last semester so I can take decent pictures of it. I also need to figure out how to make a ruff collar for the miniature Elizabethan dress I made...the costume seems incomplete without it. :/
It's the Berkeley Repertory Theatre Costuming Internship, and if I get in I'll be working for them full-time from August '09 to June '10, and my resume will be very heavily padded with shows I've worked on. It's specifically aimed at people who have a costuming education and want to break into the industry, so this ought to be awesome. Exhausting and possibly scary, but awesome.
I have two out of three of my letters of recommendation (hurry up Judy! argh!) and I have some cute costume illustrations finished. I'll scan stuff to show off when I'm all done. :)
