First order of business: freaky_zero, you have a package in the mail! Hey, it only took me two months to get it done this time! XD
Second order of business: STAR TREK MOVIE TRAILER. YESSSSSSSS. OMG BABY SPOCK. OMG.
Third order of business: Gundam 00 is killing me dead. My love for Allelujah is over nine thousand...he has totally replaced Lockon as my second favorite character (next to Tieria). And I desperately need a Soma icon. ♥
Fourth order of business: Jacqui's 21st Birthday Bash was definitely a night to remember. I expected it to be mostly Santa Cruz folks that I don't know, sprinkled with a few familiar faces...instead, it was a high school reunion. All of my buddies from the old group were there, and I'm pretty sure it was the first time in 4-5 years that we'd all been in one place together. Totally crazy. With the help of a little social lubrication *chuckles* we were all gabbing away like it was yesterday.
Our group drifted apart because of break-ups, fights, and the simple fact that we didn't all go to the same school anymore. Now that several years have passed, it seems like we were all pretty eager to reconnect again, which was a really amazing feeling. We ladies in particular seem pretty keen on the idea of having Girls Nights on a quasi-regular basis...we SO need to do this, guys. I haven't had a group of girl friends in so long. ;_;
I'm not entirely sure if I was drunk at the party (how exactly do you tell??) but I was definitely tipsy and much more talkative than usual, haha! And I am finding more tasty alcoholic beverages. I rarely drink because I think alcohol tastes gross most of the time (don't even get me started on beer...blech), but I have discovered that White Russians are particularly scrumptious. (Must. Watch. Big. Lebowski.) Also, Mai Tais and Tequila Sunrises are quite delicious. Basically anything that masks the flavor of alcohol. :o) I need to remember to try a Greyhound the next time I'm at a bar...Zot Megan's drink of choice!
Melody, you will be very happy to know that I proposed a night at Bondage A Go Go to the girls, and they seem quite excited about it! (I know you were already gone when we discussed this, Megan, but you're coming too!!) I have no idea when people are free...BAGG is on Wednesday nights, so this might be hard to plan out for people who have work or school in Santa Cruz. :/
