Sweeney Todd trailer!
The trailer for Sweeney Todd is out!!
It looks so awesome. Tim Burton has done a fantastic job with the setting and visuals. Johnny Depp can sing! But still, he's not as good as George Hearn, the original Sweeney. In the trailer Johnny is singing the song "Epiphany"...here's George's version. See what I mean? Johnny's got the angry growly bit down, but he doesn't quite have the deep singing voice (or the vibrato) necessary to make Sweeney come across as a major threat.
But still, Johnny can carry a tune. And Helena Bonham Carter has Mrs. Lovett's accent down pat. They better not have removed the Judge's song, because I want Alan Rickman to do the creepy self-flaggelation scene, and hear him sing a little bit.
Aaaaah, why can't it be December??
I should totally see this on Christmas day. Bloodiest Christmas ever! XD
