A Renaissance per say

It's been a long time since my last post, but I really don't have a lot to say. However, I am excited to have Maryam and Shannon back from New York. The weekend was definitly not as fun without you. Yesterday (sunday) I finally got my Knights of Columbus life rolling (Yes the Knights of Columbus exist, and yes I realize the acronym is KOC). Anyway, I'm really excited about this, hence a change in my LJ photo (it's a redition of a knight when I typed Knights of Columbus into Google image search. Anywho, I'm really excited and sad about the end of the year. Excited becuase I've done well accademically this year, and it's time to put a capstone on it. Sad, because I made a lot of good friends who don't live too near me. Not only that but I'm (90%) going to Paris this summer to work. I'm extremely excited about that, but the down side is I'm not with my friends and family. I love my family more than anybody else on this Earth and am sad to not be with them, but I guess I'm growing up, and it's sad to realize it. Anyway, my friends (Maryam, Shannon, LG, and possibly Reese) have said they want to come visit me, so I'm very happy that I'll have some reminders from home their with me. Also Heather told me she would give me the contact info of her Swiss friend... I forget her name, I know, I'm a horrible person. Anyway, that's my blurb for this week.
Peace and love,
Pat
