Day of rest?!?

Sunday started out with Bear allowing me to sleep in.. I so needed it. Once up, we went over to Busch Gardens. Shekra, the roller coaster which hangs you at a 90 degree angle for several seconds before dropping you, had been modified several months ago.. The park took the floor out of the coaster so that you now had a very unobstructed view. Bear has been dying to get to the park to ride it, but we've just been too darn busy. So, today was the day.. The weather was really lovely out today, and there weren't a lot of people at the park.. Thus, we treked it over to Shekra and only had about a 15 minute wait before we got on it...and the wait was well worth it. We had a blast riding it! And I know we'll be back again soon... We spent until 1:00 pm running around the park hitting the rides we hadn't had a chance to ride yet. We've come to the conclusion that we really enjoy having a theme park in our own back yards. Especially Busch Gardens, where there's so much wild life for you to go and view at any time.

Anyway, we got home and took a quick nap.. then came the work. I had made the decision that Lilly Tampa was going to be completely redone before the work week began. I had started painting earlier in the week, but the room needed to be completely. I had to laugh for Bear didn't want anything to do with my painting job. He volunteered to go get some things for me at Lowes and he propped the door open enough to throw the things in and ran. So, I worked on the painting myself. I got it all done and still have about a 1/5 of the can of paint left over. I then had Bear change out all of our outlets. We put a surge surpressing outlet on the wall where the computers are hooked up.. And the rest needed to be changed because the previous home owner painted over all of them to try to make them look new.. As I've indicated previously, this guy did whatever he could to hide things. So, I'm overjoyed with the paint color, which is a golden yellow. I think the room looks fantastic and besides a small mishap which happened right after everything was put up, Lilly Tampa is now offically open and ready for business. Yeah!
