Musical Inventory
I found this on my friend Stephanie's LJ site, so I thought I'd change it with some of my own thoughts. I'm at the art studio with Kelsie right now, and we're going to be here for several hours so I'm taking a break from my job, or wasting time, as others might think. I know Robyn will appreciate this because she loves things that distract her from doing work.
1. Of all the bands/artists in your cd/record collection, which one do you own the most albums by?: Ben Folds/Five and Ani Difranco
2. What was the last song you listened to?: Beautiful - Belle and Sebastian
3. What's in your record player right now?: No record player or cd player, but Kelsie burned all my Ben Folds cds and Ani Difranco cds before we left onto his computer
4. What song would you say sums you up? Another Brick in the Wall (We Don't Need No Education) - Pink Floyd
5. What's your favorite local band?: Halifax has endless good bands, but I guess that's not local for me anymore. And I've only been to one show so far here in Italy, so I guess that makes Planet Funk my favourite local band
6. What was the last show you attended? Planet Funk at the Sashall
7. What was the greatest show you've ever been to?: Ben Folds Five
8. What's the worst band you've ever seen in concert?: In February Kelsie and I went to a really bad punk concert at the Marquee...don't even remember what they were called
9. What band do you love musically but hate the members of?: I'm a lover not a hater
10. What is the most musically involved you have ever been?: I used to go to my brother's band concerts. I once took guitar and drum lessons....
11. What show are you looking forward to?: It would be amazing if Ben Folds had another international tour, and stopped in Florence
12. What is your favorite band t-shirt?: I used to have a Bon Jovi Crossroads tshirt, but I'd love to have a Jem tshirt
13. What musician would you like to hang out with for a day?: Lisa Loeb
14. What musician would you like to be in love with you for a day?: Ben Folds
15. Metal question-Jeans and Leather vs. Cracker Jack clothes?: I wish I understood this question. I like jeans. Leather in Italy is nice. Cracker jacks are yummy
16. Sabbath or solo Ozzy?: Kelsie makes me listen to Ozzy. I bet my mom has made me listen too.
17. Commodores or solo Lionel Ritchie?: Lionel but only because I don't know who the Commodores are
18. Punk rock, hip hop or heavy metal?: hip hop
19. Doesn't Primus suck?: I think I used to like Primus
20. Name 5 flawless albums: Ben Folds Five - Whatever and Ever Amen, Lisa Loeb - Firecracker, Ani Difranco - Living in Clip, Richard Ashrocroft - Alone with Everybody, Madonna - The Immaculate Collection and Green Day - Dookie (I couldn't decide)
21. What was the greatest decade for music?: The 80s for sure.
22. How many music-related videos/dvds do you own? I own two. Ben Folds Live, and Songs For Silverman
24. What was your last musical "phase" before you wisened up?: Wisened up? I still listen to Britney Spears every now and then.
25. What's the crappiest CD/record/etc. you've ever bought?: Three Doors Down
26. Do you prefer vinyl or CDs?: 8 track! Just kidding. I like cds.
