WTF Wednesday - Round 107 (Still catching up...)

Feb 10, 2010 12:16

Tried to pull up some old links for this one... unfortunately, a chunk of which were dead. D: WELL, I AIN'T LOOKING UP MORE NOW. I'm still two weeks behind even after this.

  • Be jealous: here are figures and art you will never own and must admit are awesome as hell.

  • As if this song weren't already a classic... Zelda Medley puts the music to an orchestral score, in concert format. Most of you have probably heard something like this before, but not actually preformed.

  • YER CATS ARE STILL TRYING TO KILL YOU. 6 adorable cat behaviors with shockingly evil explanations. Again, probably not a lot of new, but funny none the less.

  • Ahah, someone who I watch on Twitter put up this Craigslist ad.... demanding cookies. Yes, the Batman picture is her own.

  • Oh jeebuz, don't let that title confuse you: Lacks is the last name: Henrietta Lacks immortal "HeLa" cells. "The first "immortal" human cells, known as "HeLa cells," are still alive today, though cancer patient Henrietta Lacks has been dead for more than 60 years, according to a new science book published in U.S."

  • CATS CONTINUING TO BE EVIL. Oh god, I lol'd when I first saw it and felt bad immediately after: Cat drops monitor on owner's face.

  • Last U.S. veteran of WWI turns 109. Rather outspoken guy too, check it out.

  • Hey, I think I've seen this plot before...

  • Pffftt... ahahahah. Excellent timing on the photograph for the win.

  • Between Michael Jackson and Patrick Swayze and Farrah Fawcett, there were a few individuals who didn't quite get post-mortem attention. Where aren't they now? 13 overlooked deaths of 2009.

  • Old article is ooold... but who cares. Huge spider is latest arts event. Yes... that IS a 50 foot spider terrorizing a business building. Loveless would be jealous.

  • Egads, taking things a little seriously BBC? Knitwit BBC goes after Dr. Who fans. Why? Because they were knitting likenesses from the show. ._.

  • And for Valentine's Day, here's a little video on hearts in space. Or heart shapes, that is.
  • tv, video games, luna not so linkies, cat, science, space, art, food, music, death, doom, videos, when fandom attacks, politics, links tiem, ways in which they fail, drugs, lists, movies, epic lulz
