WTF Wednesday - Round 99 ALSO EDITIONALLY SUPER LATE EDITION!

Dec 16, 2009 21:26

You're probably already aware of the drill: posting this, week 98 AND week 100 all at once, so if you missed one, refer back to this entry, where I will list all of the linky-extravaganza all in one place as well as my explanation for all the crazy lateness. LINK HOOO!

  • We'll start this one off with a OMGWTF IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD. 20 of the most amazing coincidences could also be some of the most likely to be made Hollywood movies, based on true stories... at least the nuttier ones. Oh lawd.

  • High heeled flippers. I... no, you know what? Just roll with it.

  • Ahah, I want it for a poster: the many faces of a space invader.

  • Okay, I have certain trepidations about the Avatar movie (namely based around the Kayne-esque effects of, "IT'S THE BEST MOVIEH OF ALL TIEM1!"), but this is utterly retarded. December 18, 2009 - "International Day of protest against Avatar" while might sound like a winner at first, proves itself to be a winnar, if you know what I'm saying. "On Friday, December 18, 2009 thousands of people will be protesting the release of the James Cameron movie, Avatar. The purpose of the protest is as follows: 1) To make all people aware that heterosexual arrogance, assumptions or exclusions of alternative sexualities in movies is no longer acceptable. Diversity and tolerance are human rights. 2) To speak out for all gay, bi-sexual, genderless and transgender people who are not represented by any character in Avatar." Guys... it's sorta beating a dead horse.

  • Hot Victorian/steampunk/cabaret fashion... with tentacles. What could possibly go wrong with this winning combination? Nothing, that's what. I love it forever.

  • I cannot tell you how many places I've seen this linked because I've seen it linked in a lot of places. Snoop Dogg TomTom voice means Snoop Dogg can now navigate your ass to where it needs to be... I need to buy my mother a GPS and troll her with this one.

  • You shouldn't lie, that's one of the first things they teach you in school. Work hard and you'll get ahead. Lie and you'll get caught and it will be bad... the following examples provide some pretty stark evidence to the contrary: 6 people who got away with living with an (implausible) lie. I particularly love their #4 pick.

  • DELICIOUS FOOD SCIENCE. Screaming Jell-O Brains is something I could provide an explanation for, but everything is explained within the first minute of the video. Anyway, with a bit of wiring, and peach Jell-O, one guy made possibly the most awesome dessert to ever dessert.

  • On a similar note... omnomnom peanut braiiiins.

  • In case you couldn't remember all the things that were fucked up that were changed with the remastered version, someone was kind enough to plug them all into one video (abso-fucking-lutely including Han shot first): Star Wars classic VS special edition.

  • RUINING YOUR CHILDHOOD WITH SONIC OH LAWD NSFW. Thanks serke!

  • Did I already post something like this here? I don't know. You can STILL keep dem shits out of MY eyes. D:

  • 45 creative examples of My Little Pony customization. Love them all. "Alien," Edward Scissorhands, Hellboy, Ironman, and Davy Jones are definitely among my favorites.

  • This is probably already a meme somewhere on the internet (along the lines of "I has a coconut"): octopus snatches coconut and runs. HURRY LITTLE OCTOPUS FRIEND. MAKE YOUR EPIC COCONUT FORT.

  • Cool science trick combines viscosity and corn syrup. Yay science!

  • Oh... epic winner is you. Florida woman attacked disabled boyfriend with uncooked steak. FUCKING TAKE THAT, NOW WHAT?! Oh, and what's this, Mr. Police Report? You say the victim was not also terminally ill with cancer, but disabled and communicates through one of those electronic voice machines? Yeah, steak attacker lady. You're really fucking cool :|

  • NO NEWS LIKE OLD NEWS. Reporter shot in Georgia should win the BAMF award of the year... because she just keeps fucking going with the news, despite being shot. Mind you, we're talking the country Georgia, not the state. Of course, it's a bullet graze, but even still, that's fairly awesome of you.

  • "The more often Americans go to church, the more likely they are to support the torture of suspected terrorists, according to a new survey." Oh, hay... what?

  • And to end: THIS VIDEO WILL MAKE YOU DIE WITH CUTE. Surprised kitten. That is all.
  • robots, video games, douchebag, wtf, religion, luna not so linkies, sex, science, toy, space, nsfw stuff, sweet jeebus no щ(゚Д゚щ), art, under da sea, stupid, death, food, fashion, blood, videos, photos, cats, when fandom attacks, links tiem, smooth criminal, zombies/vampires, omgwant, ways in which they fail, lists, movies, epic lulz
