Today's entertainment. You bleeding-heart wussy animal lovers are going to hate me, but this is fairly funny. Not great, but excellent props on the concept.
Erica's going away party was last night. Puked for the first time in a long time--Robert's stupid ass Wild Turkey minibottles at six in the morning. That shit's nasty. The cops showed up, kicked most of the party out, then those intelligent enough to lurk simply moved our cars into the yard and tried to finish the keg. Which explains why I feel like shit--keg beer, particularly PBR, just gives nasty hangovers. Of course, perhaps if I hadn't drank enough to kill a schoolbus full of children... And I know how much that is. Trust me.
Volleyball update: Walter's calf tendon tore (as I believe I posted previously). He's out for the season. Rick broke or dislocated his right ring finger (the last joint won't bend on it's own), so there's no telling when he'll be able to play (he did this playing football, though). Our replacement for Walter (filling our roster once more) Tim wrenched/twisted his knee during the second game of his first match. We used our first time out ever, and eventually Holly and I had to tell him to get off the court. If it's still bugging him on Monday, I'm not letting him play until he sees a doctor. The rest of the office now completely refuses flat out to play ("People around you tend to get hurt...") rather than saying "that's great, I wish I had the time" or some other excuse.
So... here's the statistics...
Team 13: The Cripplers (originally known as SAS) (0-5) Highest Scoring Game: 10 points (play to 15) Lowest Scoring Game: 1 (I don't think we've been skunked, but I know there was at least one game that was very close)
Roster: Injured Reserve:

Me Walter
Holly Rick
Jennifer Tim
The good news is I saw another team with a cooler of BEER! which means for our double header next Thursday I'm bringing my own stash. It looks like my bribery offered to my team (pizza for winning one game, beer and pizza for an entire match) will likely go unbought. Which kind of hurts, because the way I've got the tournament figured, only the lowest ranked team will fail to qualify (thirteen teams, drop one, give top four teams a bye, eight plays to four, then eight play to four, etc) and get to play at least one game.
