Where does one go to squee now? My LJ flist is dead. I know even fewer people on DW than I do on LJ. Tumblr is no place to hold a conversation. You need an invitation on Discord. I just want someone to squee with me about Infinity War. Is that too much to ask?

It's been about two years since I got my fangirl squee on about anything (except for maybe some books I've read that have no online fandom, so my RL friends have had to endure my gushing). I remember when summer was all reruns all the time and I could turn off the TV for four months and catch up on my reading or backlog of videos. Now I think I have just as many shows in the summer as I do during the regular season.

So, it looks like I've stopped writing episode reaction posts. This was not a conscious decision on my part, more like a confluence of circumstances. Have you ever had a series you really loved? A series you loved enough to buy each new volume on its release date? And when the last one came out, you still got excited and bought it on its release date, but then put off reading it, possibly for years, because you weren't ready for the series to be over yet? Or is that just me?

Today is the last day. I have to go back to work tomorrow. Bummer. I could get used to watching DVDs and reading fic all day, not that I've done either yet today. I suck. I completely failed to watch any DVDs again today. But I did finally succeed in completely catching up on my flist. No DVDs today either. I got sucked into a couple of long fics instead, one Supernatural and one Stargate Atlantis.
