So, you know that 50 books a year challenge that I rarely post about because it hasn't kept me away from the fic as much as I'd hoped? I've only been at it for 4 months. I do not want to quit after only 4 months. But I have an e-reader now thanks to eBay, and I have a tagging system that I seem to have finally worked the bugs out of, and I have a whole hard drive (and 2 email accounts, and a Delicious account, and my LJ memories) full of fic I haven't read, and I have an attention span that makes people with ADD look focused.

I'm already getting zine pre-order notices for MediaWest (I've only pre-ordered 2 so far, but the con is still 5 weeks away). After MediaWest, I will be knee deep (quite literally) in brand new zines. This is the hardest time of year for me to stay away from fic.

I DO NOT WANT TO QUIT AFTER ONLY 4 MONTHS, but the fic...it's calling to me...
