Behold for 2008 is upon us
Behold
My last experiences of 2007 consisted of Burmese cuisine (now voted Best Asian Food), fun with chopsticks, and below..
My first experiences of 2008 consisted of the "dead scene" (snicker), those_who_mourn, mead, absinthe, Ralph, British comedy and Scandinavia, all in one room!!!!!!!!
Thank you Lex and a HUGE thank you to dmcindc (and her MEAD!!!), cerberus777, and yeah I guess even dreammuse (Paul!!! muahahaha), and to Eric (nudde on Helgon), and to Ralph (and good winter beer!), Chris, that Czech dude who knew how to prepare absinthe (I tried Absinthe for the first time in my life, started off 2008 right!), and the most excellent British low-budget sci-fi w/o soundtrack!
Also saw shadow27 and pmhrh, rainingdays and justaputz, Dave, and lots of people I did not know made 2007 end most gloriously, and 2008 begin most gloriously!
I will have to post my 2007 thoughts a little later, it's chock full of good, bad, ugly, beautiful and weird. Big shock, right?
oops, almost forgot, it's a those_who_mourn tradition. The Lord's Prayer, in our "other native tongues" (and you all know what mine is, right?)
