So I need to buy a new bed.

Yes, I did that. And that. And trust me, I need to buy a new bed.

Any recommendations? So far, the preferences involve a clearance of at least 8" (for under storage), king size & pillow top.

Not getting another water bed. Yes, heat & the like was lovely, but not dealing with this again.

Does any of my photography-expert friends have the foggiest clue how one would go about turning film slides (you know - little pictures with cardboard squares around them) into digital images? I mean shy of taking pictures of the projected image?

Do I know anyone who has a slide projector (you know, ancient technology, actual *slides* in a carosel, etc)?

Yes, I know I'm early.
